Be Anchored: 11 Week Journey to an Anchored Mindset

When I was diagnosed in 2015 with Trigeminal Neuralgia, I knew that I needed to see Christ as more than my savior. He had to become my anchor! I was tired of trusting in the next doctor’s recommendations or the next medication regimen. I needed God’s grace to make it through those painful episodes. The image of an anchor was revealed to me during one of my quiet times, and from that point, I began the journey of making Christ my anchor. I had trusted in people for so long, and now no one had the answers. It was in the middle of my storm that Christ became my anchor. Hebrews 6:19 became my foundational verse, “This hope we have as an anchor for the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil”
